Just wondering what Admin's thoughts are on if it's possible to have the ability for when a new deal is posted, the postee has the ability to include theirself (by default), and select who they are dealing with, and once submitted, both parties receive an email/PM confirming said deal?
In other words:
Trader A posts a thread for Trader A & Trader B (selects Trader B from a list, or manually enters and has the vBulletin® software update - much like sending a PM).
Trader A & Trader B both receive an email or a PM for confirmation, which Trader B can use to access and then confirm by counter-posting.
You could include "Awaiting Confirmation" or something like that as a Deal In Progress update....?
