Hi everyone,
I went to the Top Gear Festival in Sydney which was hosted by Jeremy Clarkson and James May.
There were a couple of highlights for me on the day....first seeing Ayrton Senna's race car from 1988. This car is valued at about 6 million dollars and won something like 16 of 17 races in which it was used, probably due to the person driving it.
This old Holden was there too...
Then on to the part I wanted to see most...... Daniel Ricciardo trying to break the Eastern Creek Lap record.....held by Mark Webber.
The sound of an F1 car at full tilt is an amazing experience.....
Cheers
Matt
P.S. and for those wondering, he broke Mark Webbers lap record time by more than 2 seconds......twice!
