Since the act of taking inventory of everything that’s cool about Panini America’s 2013 Cooperstown Baseball — a shining tribute to the greatest players and personalities in Hall of Fame history — would likely take up most of your weekend, The Knight’s Lance is going to do it for you. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the show.

To be sure, Panini America’s history-soaked second Cooperstown release — a direct result of the company’s official partnership with the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum — has a lot going for it. From Cracked Ice parallels and on-card autographs of baseball’s all-time greats to splendid archival photography, Cogan’s Disks, Heroes Buy-Back Autographs and colorized base-set SPs, 2013 Cooperstown Baseball has something to appeal to even the most demanding Hall of Fame aficionados.

The product releases in hobby shops everywhere next Wednesday, which means Panini America Baseball Brand Managers Mike Payne and Tim Trout spent some quality time earlier this week quality controlling the product at the company printing facility. The following gallery highlights the fruits of their production-line labor.

Most of what you’re about to see comes from the hobby version of the product, but we also provide an early look at the special retail Orange dot-matrix base-set parallels. Enjoy this extended first look at live cards from the product and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance early next week for additional coverage of 2013 Cooperstown Baseball.
