The Panini America Baseball team started its week off right Monday morning by overseeing the final stages of packout for 2011 Limited Baseball, a diversely appealing product that includes a potent mix of current stars, all-time greats and the game’s most promising prospects — as well as healthy doses of autographs and game-worn memorabilia from all three groups.
2011 Limited Baseball also features the inclusion of real pieces of 14kt gold, Panini America’s first baseball usage of the precious metal (check out the Adrian Gonzalez Rawlings Gold Glove card below). The following massive gallery should give anxious collectors some keen insight into what to expect when Limited releases next week.
What you won’t find below, however, are details of an unannounced surprise slated for the product that should be well received by collectors when they’re unveiled next week. Stay tuned for that. But in the meantime, feast on the revealing buffet of eye candy that follows.
