Hi all, as more of a pc collector than a set collector i was wondering how to get the individual Platinum cards i need for my PC without spending $1500 on the Master Set. Lack of initiative from most ebay dealers have totally ignored the opportunity of breaking this set up, into making a good profit. I have taken it upon myself to try and get a group buy going. As each card is limited to 250 and people not willing to break them up, i see all these cards are going to be unfillable gaps in peoples personal collections in the near future.
I have gone through some numbers and when broken up, ALL cards seem reasonably priced. I have gone to the trouble of listing what i think are fair prices for everything. If enough interest is shown i will buy this set and I have spoken to a few people and if this purchase goes ahead, some cards are already spoken for.
I am NOT looking for ANY profit from this and prices do not include postage. If enough interest is shown, then i will go through with the purchase. All prices are based on $1500 for the set and any discounted prices will be passed evenly throughout the OVERSIZED sets. Quoted prices do not include postage.
There are 3 levels of prices in the 100 Top Players Platinum Common Cards. Level 1= Immortal Players and Andrew Johns.
Level 2= TOC Members Level 3= The rest.
In the TOC Oversize Sets there are 2 Levels. Level 1= Immortals and Andrew Johns and Level 2=The rest.
Payment is not expected immediately, but is expected prior to me purchasing.

100 Top Players $3 LVL 1, $2 LVL 2, $1 LVL 3
(16) Elite Team Sets (+Logo) $18 each
TOC Oversize Team Card(1) - $10
TOC Oversize Cards (18) $10 LVL 1, $8 LVL 2 #2,5,9,10 Available
TOC Oversize Platinum Foil Sig (18) $15 LVL 1, $10 LVL 2 GONE
Immortal Platinum Oversize(7) $15ea GONE
Immortal Sketch Oversize (7) $15ea GONE
Oversize Meninga Authentic Signature $250 (Sold on Ebay for $326.01) GONE
Provan/Summons Duo Signature $300 GONE
Will be on a first in first served basis, I will list what has been taken as soon as i receive interest. Please no time wasters or ppl that dont intend on paying. I will be giving 2 weeks payment notices, once enough interest is shown to buy this set. Also pending Admin approvement.

So the good news is that this purchase is going ahead. There are still a few cards still available so its not too late for newcomers, or people who just want more. IMO there are still bargains to be had in the Top 100 Common Foils
