Is this what i think it is???

Are we gonna see patches from jerseys worn in a specific season? - ie the 96-97 season - that was the 50th anniversary one wasn't it??

Also if there are nba finals patches that are authentic then that is great!!!!!!!!!!!

Would be nice, but on the checklist I've seen they are shown as manufactured which is a bummer!

Could you imagine what a Gold Logoman worn by Jordan in the 96/97 season would have gone for?

Cheers
Matt

I think it is pretty cool that they are manufactured ( just this instance ) - think about it if they were authentic then all we could do is probably drool at them since it would cost our mortgage to get one. But since they are manufactured - they not only look great! But would at least be in our price range. So for this instance only - YAY MANUFACTURED!

I am pretty against with manufactured patches, it's going backwards in trend.. and also depreciate early game used jersey and game used patches... the theme about sending fabrics to collectors is to feel the game.. now all they do is, manufacture the cards and tell players to sign on letters instead of stickers or cards.. which is IMO, very cheap, because we know many players are signing pretty bad already on plain sticker or card.. they sign worse on fabrics...

I am all in it for new innovations, but not making a fast money because they could just sew them somewhere in northern china factory... or use Mexican products....

i don't have any own the name or by the letter, lettermen cards.. but this really hurts true 1/1 owners... because they paid a fortune for letterman and now u can even buy the same guy with less than $50 bucks.. that's sad.

Oh of course - what the bloooody hell was I thinking..............:cry:

Things are getting worse not better........

I totally agree with you, look at my post and you will see "in this case". The reason is that the manufactured patch looks great (not only a letter) and it is relatively inexpensive (in comparison to the real thing). I guess it is good to have a choice and I am sure everybody agrees these cards look much better that a regular auto card.

Yea.. I agree card designs are brilliant and sweet.. the drawback is, UD insert manufactured cards in high end boxes, that really make box breakers to pay for an expensive box.. actually, every box companies should make price control so that we don't always have to buy singles on ebay..

I am losing desire to buy boxes because of their money making oriented process..

Compared to less than $200 bucks for company representatives of chronology will cost at least $300 to end consumer.. days that we can easily buy boxes are over... coz with $300 at eBay, we can usually get 6 letterman auto randomly..but one box break, we need to be extremely lucky to pull decent autos and one letterman.. so, UD made enormous return on investment because they no longer have to compete in auctions for players jerseys... on the other hand, they push the prices up releasing at high end ones.. the profit margin is so big sometimes I don't understand how could I keep up with the products.. :(:(:(
