I thought id start a thread for this game which will be the biggest game of the year and is going to be a great game to watch. It would be great to see a bigger turnout than the 91K that filled in for the Anzac match :)

This thread i will post lineups and injuries through the week. This game is huge and we seem to have a big melbounrne and c'wood fan base on oz cards so we should hype it up

---
C'wood supporters can you help us out on your injuries, not too sure on the seriousness of the Swan injury maybe someone can fill us in.
But we have been hit hard by a big Key injury :
Matty Whelan will miss 3-4 matches (Massive Blow)
Miller 1 match left on his suspension
and Bartram might not play due to injury.

Game Breakers for Melbounre:
Brock Mclean
Aaron Davey
Adem Yze (for example last years QB Clash)
Bryon Pickett
Nathan Carroll
and we will need 2-3 fowards firing

shoes or Kyle you can give a writeup to your team.

It will be the match of the season in front of a massive crowd on a public hoilday doesnt get much better than that. Who will be crowned the Victorian #1 premiership contenders?

Jmac, McLean, Bruce and Travis are 4 that are in great form so it will be interesting to see how colllingwood matchup.
CJohnson, Bate, Bartram, Dunn (Our Young Guns who are firing:D)

Melbourne to win, In a game that will live up to its expectations and hype!

go the dees

Swanny is in doubt, they are saying its only a strain but could miss a couple. A Huge blow for us.
Maxwell - Broken Leg (indefinite)
Carracelle - Neck (Season)

Also Fraser pulled up sore but should be right.

Well it will be a big game for both clubs, but i think we will win. Tarrent is back this week incase people have forgotten. Players who are possible to get a call up are: Rowe, Thomas, Travis Cloke, Jason Cloke.

Will be a cracker!!

Maxwell is a big blow 'Broken leg' sheesh., he was in great form.

In contention for us:
Slyvia (In case people have forgotten :) )
Wheatley
Brown
Read (BOG performance for the reserves this week)
426 aka Nick Smith (may return to our firsts, a big unit that has really been pushing for selection this year)
Ferguson
Moloney
Nathan Jones
Warnock

I will be livid if Godfrey plays this week, an absolute joke!!

In: Slyvia, Brown, 426
Out: Whelan (Inj), Godfrey (Ommitted because he stinks), Bartram (Inj)
i wouldnt mind those changes. :) I would love to see Nathan Jones play but i dont think it will happen :(

Whoo hoo...i have been hanging for this game since the start of the season!!! Dees should win in a tight one..

Dees by 14 points!!!!

Yeah swan is out for 2

DT should be coming back in

I look for the pies to take this by around 35-40 pts..

They are too good goal line to goal line...Tarrant will run rampant with close to 20 marks, many will be well up the ground but that'll just make more space for ROCCCCCCA, didak and Neon to weave it up ...
I think the pies captain knows where the posts are too..

should be a great game, go pies. to close to call i am sitting on the fence, but Presti to carve up Neitz.

He'd want to after brown gave him a bath for the 1st 3 quarters last week.
Didn't Neitz break some record last week? I think it was for the most pies consumed in 1 sitting. :D

reign got your facts wrong there. the pies were DESTROYED today!! :D

agreed MetalHead!

lol

nah you got the better of us today mate, ill give you's that. Much more fierce at the ball then us, your tackling was second to none. But i still think we are the best Vic team :).

Good game from Bate, he is gonna be a good player for you guys. Our only 2 winners on the day were Didak and Clement, who did a good job on Robo.

But i still think we are the best Vic team

HA Kyle.. This match was the battle for Vic Supremacy and you didnt just lose you got flogged. And you will lose again in two weeks to Sydney.
MCG stat 6-0
QB Match we have one the last three years

8-3 to 7-4???

which one is better??? lol

so you beat us, well done but i think we had a bad day thats all. We will be back.
That would be an interesting fact of the Pies could beat someone in the top 8...besides the Dogs during there bad period!

just a good example of what happens when the pies face some decent competition...losses to quality sides like melbourne, adelaide, west coast show you guys arent as dangerous as you think you are...;)

let's all just settle down hey, the pies are 2-3 years ahead of their plans and have the brightest future of any team in the AFL.

they are not the best team in mebourne now and won't be until next year..

once the young guns get some games under the belt the black and whites will be snagging the flag
