Help Wanted On Nabisco Card

Hi all, was wanting some help on a card I have pictured below.

Leading Cricketers
Nabisco 1948

This is on paper with a blank back.
Can anyone shed some light about this card ?

I don't collect these cards but the front matches the card of Bill Alley (see card image). No idea why it is blank on the back.

This is likely to have been cut from a proof sheet - printed on a single side for the Client to see the sample layout of the finished card front - although a relatively common card this is a rarish piece
