Hey Guys,
dont think anyone ese has posted this yet but today I've just seen a few pretty sad video's of Marbury acting very weird and there's been an article on ESPN (Stephon Marbury streaming webcast is a sad show - ESPN) Marbury appears to be doing Live Streaming at different times of the day acting very weird, coating his face in white powder, eating vaseline, getting in a car crash and driving off, weird dancing, crying just to name a few. Looks like his breaking down which is never good to see in anyone but maybe because his NBA career is pretty much over. Anyway here are a few sites... :ermm:

hmm. much have been changed from the day marbury has been drafted, I remember him while being interviewed on the draft night, crying for just being drafted, that nba was his dreams, and work hard everyday. what happen now steph???

I think his career started to come down after he joined the nets....if you guys remember, before the jason kidd deal with the nets - heaps of point guards for the nets didnt do very well, and were bagged byt he media. He was labled a hog (same kind of thing Kobe went through with basketball fans) and that he should pass the ball more...and yeah...he did really well there and was always bagged by fans about his assist game...was the start of it in my eyes. He did alright with the Suns...but yeah with the Knicks - he just looked to be happy playing basketball in his home town....(which is why he wanted to play for the Nets in the first place cause it was close to home)
Hope he picks himself up, maybe he is struggling to take that he is now a role player that plays next to nothing and not the man/allstar? but then again he loves and respects the game so i think he is happy just to play ball with anyone...remember he sat out for a lonnnnnngggg time before the celtics picked him up.
BTW not a fan of having the tats on his head lol...

Funny i was watching an old video the other night from 1997..and it showed Iverson and Marbury's first game against eachother in the NBA...now look at them..I think Iverson is over the fact he can win a championship, so he is just playing as a job..

notice how the numbers fall as soon as he goes to new york.. my point exactly.. he was a great player.. I think this is one to say age has got to him he can't move around the court half as fast as he used to. considering his first couple of years in the league he was up with the names of allen iverson,steve francis + jason kidd to be the best point guards in the game at the time means he was a star. thing is the same thing happened to steve francis yet no one brings that up, probaly because francis knows when his days as a starter have finished.. starbury still does not know that! (this is where the money factor comes into it.. as i mentioned before.. he thinks he's worth more than he is). you can see his frustration in boston + thats why he aint gunna get better... his star days are over.

it's really a damn shame, he was so talented and even if he wasn't going to have a hall of fame career would have provided a very entertaining (ON COURT!) rest of career and set some statistical milestones too..

I have to admit, I've never had much time for Marbury but, seeing what's going on, I can't help but feel bad for the guy. Seems like a ticking time bomb right now and looks like he's close to hitting bottom. I respect what he's done for the community, sick and under priveliged children etc etc But I don't get how he's helping anyone here.

What's worse is, after checking out that jtv channel, he's got a whole bunch of fools in there hanging off every word like he's going to take them to the promised land. I have my own religious beliefs, but It's almost like a cult following for some of the poeple in there. Scary stuff.

A couple of quotes;

- HIS WORDS ARE ALWAYS SO POWERFUL AND REAL -

- *****PLEASE SOMEONE HELP**** CANNOT SEE STARBURY TV..WORKED FINE FOR DAYS..NOW DARK SCREEN OUT OF BLUE...WHY???? HELP!!! -

- THE SCREEN IS BLACK BECUZ STEPHON WANTS US TO SEE HIS WORDS NOT HIS FACE RIGHT NOW -

Reminds me of that Simpsons episode with the leader. :blink:

One Intelligent post;

Steph , if you really cared , you would tell these folks to do summin , other than following you all day. you can afford to be on this stream. some of these knucleheads have been following you all week and NOT tending to their children or families.

I wouldn't be suprised if the players association brings in some new rules to combat the overuse of the Twitter/Live Streaming craze. Not sure if there is anything they can do about it though.

In the words of DL Hughley; 'He is ****ing it up for everybody...' :lol:

he was an awesome player when he had his head on straight, but was always a bit selfish... i always wondered what he an kg could have achieved if they had of stayed together for even 5 yrs

Its sad to see professional people you look up to loose it, i hope all goes good with marbury, looks like he's falling off real hard.
