Was talking with another Member the other day, and we thought of posting up some OzCard Awards.

Accepting nominations via PM.

Can be any award, for any member. So long as it's not TOO offending...

**Award Winners wont receive a physical award, just a notation**

All of course if Hill/Magic's dont mind...

I thinks its best to have actual awards that people can leave an answer for or it will get out of hand with obscure awards and one person voting etc.

Most boxes broken - Ruckers
Most Player Collection changes - Jimbo

and then some of the subjective ones (where we vote on 3 - 5 nominees) -

Best break
Worst break
Best signature
Best avatar
Best mailweek

there are probably heaps more, but I probably wouldn't do more than 30/40% funny (stupid/mess-around) awards

I'm assuming that no one wants to keep the nominations quiet or anonymous then???

I thought that would have been the mystery side of things.

If we have people posting on here who gets what award, then it'd be pretty much a dead beat idea... lol.

My suggestion is: There should be a panel of members who would come up with categories.. say 10-15 awards, and then approve it.. and release it on the forums so that everyone can nominate someone. After that, you release the categories, together with nominees, and then everyone votes.

Come up with set categories first before we nominate.

Yep, I agree with Kidd. Come up with categories, and then allow us to nominate. From there, the panel could decide winners from nominations, or they could put each category up for vote.
