Double Posting

Just wondering whats with all the double posting lately. Has happened to me a couple times. Seems to be on Tapatalk and the regular site.

Anyone else noticed this?

Just restarted web and database server to see if it helps.

I have noticed that the messages are sometimes slow to upload, I dare say people are being impatient and hitting submit twice

I only use my phone to access the site sometimes it comes up with an error and then send again and then it double posts

Im reproducing the slowness so i do some testing. Something must be interfering. I think i know what it is.

It wasnt what I thought it was but hopefully should be working ok now!

Ok after I tracked it all down, it appears Tapatalk is the cause of all of the issues. I am going to downgrade to the previous version.

Have not had this issue on Tapatalk today. In fact Tapatalk seems to be running a bit faster if anything when your replying to a message.

Will let you know if it happens again.

Yeah - I was able to confirm it was some settings in Tapatalk on the site (for unused features) that were causing the lag. Disabling them got the site speed back to where it should be.

Posting etc should be super quick again.
