Interested parties would enter a bidding process, a long with a number of other business documents. Highest price, as approved by that same board would get ownership. Sterling has little to no say as the value of the organization would be estimated by professionals. A process not too different to that of real estate, except the board of governors accepts not Sterling.

I dont think he will be crying poor at the end of this.

MLB kicked the Dodgers owner out and he ended up getting paid over 2 billion from Magic Johnson's group which was more than double what it was valued for.

Not at all. He purchased them for $12m, it's current estimated with by Forbes is between $500-575m. However the bucks & kings got those numbers, and the Clippers are much better off than them both
