From now on in sale threads members are to state if the amount is set in AUD or US dollars. Amounts don't need to be posted but with the fluctuating dollar members are to come to an agreement on one or the other.

IF you agree to a US dollar amount and the dollar goes down its going to cost you more.

If you agree to such a deal and you are losing out later on when payment is made its still the members obligation to pay for the card unless the seller agrees to let the buyer out of it.

Conversely sellers can't ask for more if the dollar goes down.

A deal in US dollars is just that, the same amount in US dollars and vice versa for the AUD dollar.

The only time we will exempt this rule is for group buys as organisers should get exactly back what it costs them and pass on any savings to the buyers as no profit is to be made on group breaks.

Its just common sense and some members have force our hand at putting this rule out there. It will go in the new updated site rules still to be finished.

Fantastic rule this one!!

Is there any way to enforce a listing/preferred amount, rather than the usual "PM me an offer" threads??

Should also note that if a sale is made/agreed upon, a timeframe should be set for payments, as you say you can make (unlikely), or lose money with the AUD going up and def. down.

If payment is required within 3 days, it should be made within 3 days, regardless of fluctuation.
