Not sure if anyone has seen this or noticed, but COMC is now trailing auctions:

I think this could be a great idea. By looks you don't need to have all the funds in your COMC when you bid "We are not currently locking any store credit when bids are placed, but if we have issues with people not paying after winning an auction, we will consider locking 5% of your maximum bid as long as you are the high bidder." Then if they have issues with people not paying, "If the winner still has insufficient funds to pay for the auction after 4 days, they will be charged a 5% restocking fee, and the second highest bidder will be offered the item at their max bid. If this becomes a common problem, we will introduce new policies that affect bidders that fail to pay. For example, we may require those bidders to fully fund their bids like we currently required for offers."
I would much rather sell in an auction using COMC than ebay which can be serious issues for sellers (especially us overseas!)
