A big THANKS to Chadjaja, who took the time to send me this Cool (with a capital C) Star Court Kings oversized card of former Warriors Legend Purvis Short for free and simply because he knows I'm a Golden State Fan. 
I've left the scan big because it's an over-sized card.
Short played some quality basketball for Golden State, and is an under-rated figure in the games history. In his Senior Year at College Short ranked 3rd in the nation with 29.5 points per game. Know who the leading College scorer was that year. Yep, one Larry Bird.
After being picked 5th by the Warriors, Short made the All-Rookie team, and for quite a few years carried most of the scoring load for the Ws.
In the 1984-85 season Short averaged 28 points and 5 boards. In a one week stretch he had two forty point games and then dropped 59 on New Jersey.
A class guy and one of the best players in the Warriors' fairly ordinary history.
