Buttercup 1996 bulk lot, over 8000 cards

first timer on this forum. I have over 10000 UNSCRATCHED mostly near mint buttercup 1996 cards.

i was going to put them on ebay as sets. but as there are so many it would be a dedicated project that i have no time or interest in doing.

by my estimates if done properly selling all these on ebay would attract at least $3000

Like i said i dont have enough spare time to do this. So am selling the lot in one bulk sale. I would like $700 for the lot.

i am located in Mascot 2020. pick up prefered, but i can post anywhere in australia for $20

hey there, i dont have a checklist for the whole set, as the cards are not numbered. in htis lot there are 23 australian player cards, and a few players from other countries. i am positive there are more cards for players from other countries that i do not have. of the aussie players i did a quick count of the smallest aussie player bundle and there is a minimum of 170 and could be up to 200+ in the bundle. ( i counted out 50 cards then put then side by side to get an approx count) will count them properly if you are interested. thats why i have said over 8000 cards in my opening post. i rough counted 8800, and knocked off 800 to be safe.

so in answer to your question there should be approx 200 sets based on what i have.

i based my value on the cards not as sets but individual cards at 50cents ea. giving $4000, less $1000 for fees/listings/expenses, giving a conservative value of $3000.

and i felt a fair wholesale value was 20% of this and thats how i got my $600 asking price.

UPDATE.

i have 38 cards of the 50 card set, of which there are 24 of the 25 aussie players, i think a shane warne action shot is missing?? and 14 of the 24 internationals.

card count is over 10000 cards, of which there should be 200 cards of each image.

i have revised the price and the opening post to reflect this. am asking $700 for the lot.

if anyone is serious i can do a more formal count to give better approx. card count for each player.

i will probalby do this anyway over the next few days, but if someone is keen then i will get it done faster.
