BIDPAY gone for good?

Not sure how many of you guys and gals buy over EBay, and pay by bidpay...for the sellers who do not accept Paypal, but as of 31/12/05, Bidpay have withdrawn all their services!

You can no longer purchase a Western Union Money order through them.

I did not know that and now I need to pay for an item (seller doesn't accept Paypal). :evil:

Have had to resort to Australia Post for a WU Money Order....this will now slow down the process.

Anyone have any other options out there? I knwo you can join Western Union Directly and send instant cash, but I think it is less safe. Then again cash or money order also isn't all that safe. They can cash it then not send anything.

Yeah Billyhoyle pointed this out to me on Beckett. (well not me directly).

If you get a WU Money Order from Aus Post, they can track it if it's cashed.

Although there's not a lot they can do for you if it's cashed and they done send the cards to you. Sucks, no protection.
