I get emailed about all the auction houses auctions for my vintage stuff and this up at Memory Lane Inc. Whata cool piece! Just wanted to show those that may like to see it here.

HISTORIC BALL. Babe Ruth’s Last Home Run Ball at Yankee Stadium August 23, 1942.
An “Only One”. A true One-of-a-kind! It is the “only” home run Babe Ruth in fair territory on August 23, 1942.
It’s the last Home run he ever hit at Yankee Stadium. This fact has been documented by the Press, who witnessed the game, and reported through their newspaper following the event. This ball has never been in an Auction before!
This is a real one-of-a-kind find.

I'd say its come from a deceased estate and the family is cashing in. Why else would it stay in a collection all this time and not be seen.

This happens quite a bit and is a big reason the vintage era of that time is really kicking along at the moment. The market activity is really picking up.

It may fetch a few hundred thousand US $s me thinks.
