ASADA clears Michael Braun

Thought this was worth a mention:

ASADA (Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority) has cleared West Coast midfielder Michael Braun of performance enhancing drugs after allegations were made against the premiership player earlier this month.

Brownlow medallist and triple premiership player Jason Akermanis made comments in an article in early August suspecting an opponent had used EPO and a television news program named Braun as the alleged opponent of Akermanis.

The Eagles are expected to carry out legal action after Braun and his family were made to go through the ordeal.

But what does that mean...did they test him in the past week or so? Aker's claims relate to 2-3 years ago.

Aker used to say this to his Lions teammates in the locker room going back 3 years. Johnathon Brown confirmed this too.

Yes the original article (in which no-one was named) stated that in two Brisbane vs WCE games, one in 2004 and the other in 2005 Aker had his suspicions.
Which really makes any statement from ASADA almost irrelevant.
