Accommodation Solution - Nelson Bay

My wife and I are taking some time out in September this year for a holiday. We are going to spend a few days in Gloucester with the folks before heading down to Nelson Bay around the 14th or 15th for a week.

Looking for recommendations on nice places to stay.

Well if you want to stay right in Nelson Bay there are plenty of nice units you could rent for a week but the nicest resort would be the Mantra.

5 minutes away you have the Shoal Bay Resort and Spa which is a nice quite spot (and the wife's favorite) or you could go over Corlette way and stay at the Oaks Pacific Blue (Tony Roaches old resort) or the Anchorage.

Depends on what you want to spend though.

You could always have #1eelsfan put you up for a couple nights!

Thanks Owen, we want to stay right in Nelson Bay if we can, cost is not really a problem at this stage.

Well if your right in NB personally i would stay at the Mantra although you could not go wrong staying at the Cote D'Azur Resort either.

The Mantra is a little further up the hill so if your heading down around the shops/marina everyday you would be doing some more walking.
