2012 Brownlow Medal Question.

Hate to be the one asking this question...

But lets say Jobe Watson does lose his 2012 Brownlow Medal after this case is finialised, do you see Select releasing a Dual Brownlow Signature in it's next series including Trent Cotchin & Sam Mitchell?

Not sure if this has been discussed on here yet.

I can't see that happening. I think the AFL will be very happy to put this season behind them once it's over

It's a real tricky one Will. Personally i think Mitchell has gone on record stating that it's not the way you want to win that medal.

Sadly if it does happen it would probably be best that the history books scrap the 2012 brownlow medal. Similar to what the NRL did with the Storms tainted premierships and the Olympics with cases such as Marion Jones.

If it is found that Jobe knowingly or unknowingly took a banned PED substance, sadly for the integrity of the game the medal must be taken away from him.

Because the nature in which it would be done is so awful to begin with, there is no real way to celebrate a different player accepting it.

It's a clusterf**k of epic proportions however this all turns out.
