Durant was just on post-game. He looked completely demoralized.
The Thunder are done. They are just a bit too young, lacking experience, a bit of poise and savvy when it's needed in crucial situations. They just need a bit of growing time. They'll be right.

OKC; are you serious? Please trade Russell & Perkins and get Kevin a tough big man for the team. I can't stand quality young player's losing year after year when they should be playing in the Finals. Kevin deserves better. He's so unselfish. The team just needs to be more aggressive.

This is the 2nd time they have been in the Playoffs, the first time was as the 8th seed and they got beaten by an extremely good and experienced team in LA. This year they rode a bit of an easier wave into the Playoffs with a little bit of experience and they have come up against a team that IMO is almost as good as the Lakers were last year... At least they are playing like it this year!!
Westbrook is in his third year and Durant his 4th, they still have a lot of learning to do... and you can't exactly expect OKC to go spending the money that LA etc have in the past because they just do not have the market for it. Add the fact in their that Perkins has been with the Thunder for not even half a season and was injured for the first part of it and you probably really have a team that is learning how to play with each other and gelling to a point! Dirk and Kidd are future HOF VETERANS who have both been to the finals before and deep into the playoffs on numerous times!!!!!!
IF they go on to lose to Dallas, which obviously looks likely at this time, it won't be because of perkins and Westbrook... It'll be because of youth and inexperience. Durant hasn't exactly played his best ball all series/PO's either!!!!

Awesome come back by the mavs and dirk was clutch, westbrook shot too much and durant became a bystander like previous games! okc in my opinion were robbed when it was all said and done...what does durant have to do to get a call! terrible officiating...did anyone see the missed call on kidd fouling durant accross the arms at the three point line that lead to a fast break and a 3 point play at the other end 9 (6 point turnaround)! you only have to breath on dirk "floppy rag doll nowitzki" and he goes to the line, dont get me wrong dirk is a clutch player and has reivented himself in the playoffs, but durant deserves the same calls dirk gets! the only thing is durant doesnt flop all over the place!
good learning experience for the thunder and maybe with some off season movements and aquasitions they could look better next year...i just hope next game brooks gets on westbrook for taking bad shots and they RUN MORE PLAYS FOR DURANT! try starting maynor at pg and westbrook at sg for something different, cant do much worse...
