Personally, I'll be shocked if they insert the #01s into this and future series. The market is already booming so there is no need for them to do this now. The release will sell out regardless of these inserts.

It's unfortunate because we know how much we would all love it.

They were kept by select as a record of every card they have produced. A hard copy checklist if you like. They started introducing the 001 into series in 2019. So anything 2018 or before, the lowest you could get is 002.

Awesome that #001s are available for collectors now, would love to get my hands on #001 from before 2018.

Select didn’t buy it, they offered him some boxes I think but got knocked back

Hope they hurry up, there's a no final value fee offer on my ebay store in August. The ebay managed payments starts next week as well for ebay stores, payment into the bank instead of paypal with potential delays depending how long the transfer takes. Can choose daily or weekly transfers apparently.

I signed up for managed payments never looked into how it worked though, so can just transfer all money from sales weekly?

I was told you can choose daily or weekly. Once the funds are transferred it could take 1-3 business days to hit your bank. Ebay will add on any fees that PayPal previously charged to boost their profits. Ebay want the ability for buyers to buy through various methods PayPal, bank, credit card, Apple pay, Google Pay, Afterpay etc
It could cause delays in payment, PayPal shortfalls with money in bank accounts or in transit. I would have preferred to stick with Ebay/PayPal for instant payments but it wasn't an option.

Yes but people payed that much as they were under the opinion that the 001 would never be released so these were a once in a lifetime purchase. Once all 001 are released then they become no different to this years 001 and 8k just isnt going to happen. Not to mention the cards sold that high as it was select bidding for them to fix their mistake.

Like anything, as long as all 001 are kept under wraps then they retain unbelievable value once leaked. But when they are all released then that value is gone and they only have the prestige of the 001, not the prestige of being vaulted

And yep i would expect these to drop aswell. Tbh it has some benefits and will generate some excitement but also comes with negatives
