EBay Seller of the Month

There is to much variation in the numbers and signature from dynamic. It was the same with the diecut legend set that was sold by the same seller. I have never seen the gold numbers printed out of level on any select card set ever . The numbers are out of level and spaces are to far apart. There quality control was nearly flawless and even one of the cards the 1 was not even there. Dodgy dealing going on here. I would recommend you to stay clear of this seller

I love an investigation and for me with what I'm presented with, the jury is still out. Innocent until proven guilty.

The evidence / reasonable doubt:
All this sellers other transactions have been for reasonably high end cards and they look legit, the IP signatures all look sweet to my limited knowledge, no negative feedback.

I also looked at the numbering and the reverse of the 2006 cards, even zoomed in and added grid lines and for me all those 13 are pretty consistent with each other and to my eye they appear pretty level. The gold on these often reflects light which MAY give the appearance of variable size. The spacing doesn't appear ANY different from the ones I own.

Dynamic were dodgy, anything could have happened, they are a notoriously faked card anyway. I looked at a few samples and in this release the players used differrent pens and because it was a GEM signed either side of the card (wave down left or right of the card) the few I looked at had similar looking sigs (colour and placement) and where signed on the correct side. I have heard that Dynamic had lots of "spares" so the sigs and blank COA may be legit but the numbering and completed COA not.

VERY DODGY.....:red: :cautious:.. Here is the No 13 Toovey & has been on Ebay for a while. I have spoken to the owner who is a trusted seller & he said he pulled the No 13 toovey out of case he bought back in 2006 & has reported the fakes to Select, they are currently investigating it now.

Also I have the No 13 Roach which I pulled from a case back in 2010.

Do you think this seller would be able to post a picture of the reverse of his #13 Toovey? Like they say "asked for a 13 but they drew a 31".

Cheers
Ross

I will ask him for photo of the back of the card. He was the one who contacted Select direct himself to confirm card & Grant Cropley assured him his is legit & the ones on Ebay of Toovey & Roach are fake & have been duplicated & a few others lock dodgy.
I will scan mine tonight & post up picture of it tonight.

There's positive feedback less than 24 hours later, very efficient.
Something dodgy there although the number could be a diiferent one or he just has not got the card stole the picture and is ripping someone off. We now know it is not number 14. Good pick up

I had a look at the numbers andto me some look out. I might have to check my eyes again. There is no getting passed that others have the no. 13 as well.

I was the one who bought the set of no. 13's from secondhand_cardboard_dealer ....They all looked legit ??
I hope this gets sorted out ??

What i don't understand is this if these are fake and the numbers are all over the place if this was to be photo shopped wouldn't you think the numbers be spot on and not all over the place.
