No Benji Marshall was mentioned...... If he leaves the game.... who's going to want his signature 2-3 years later when he's playing someother sport!!!!!

Its all ESP's fault. They should have known he was going to announce last week that he was leaving for rugby.

What have you been smoking Owen I haven't blamed ESP for Benji leaving .... Only saying Why would they want to archive his signature & release it when he is playing someother sport!!!! If they want to do a signature of him & release at a later date do it on a card now & release as a special card not a sticker that they stick on what ever they want.................

Glad its rubbish, only reason i thought it sounded plausible from when it was mentioned cause i read somewhere that barba was late with his cards, at least with stickers they could get them in advance well before they release cards and it wouldnt delay any plans etc: but still that whole thing could of been a load of rubbish also.

The benefits of stickers is that a player can sign 2000 of them at once and the companies don't have to hold up production waiting for cards to be returned.

I prefer on card autos but if the card/design is great and its a sticker auto so be it.

In the NBA they do this as during the season they are on the road every day or 2 and its hard to pin down players to sign. They get them to sign 2000 at once and they can cover 90% of their production needs for the year.

For Australian releases, you are looking at potentially 36 players in a release (Elite) and being able to get them in advance isn't anywhere near as hard and the players aren't travelling as much. As an FYI most card releases are about 8-9 months in the making and I know that ESP has already started on Traders 2014.
