I decided i needed some current cards, i only have the years between 1990-1995 cards. I just purchased.

08 Fleer NBA Box
07/08 Ultra NBA Box
07/08 UD Artifacts NBA Box

I have no clue whats in them, no clue what to expect but its a start to my new collection. If anyone can shed some light on these then please do so. Once i open them ill share with everyone what i got.

Just an update, they are retail boxes, not hobby boxes. I paid $94 for the lot including delivery.

You will pick up on it very fast, have a read of some of the threads in the NBA basketball discussions area, might help you pick a thing or 2 up. You thinking of collecting a player?

Ok i found some info on them

Original Factory Sealed Box of 2007/08 Fleer Tradition NBA Basketball Cards
22 Packs and 8 Cards Per Pack, 2 of the packs are bonus packs.

dunno if its hobby or retail, whats the differnece?

Hobby boxes generally have more "hits" (auto/GU) per box and also cost more. Retail boxes can have different number of packs per box and cards per pack, generally have fewer hit cards and often cost less per box than the hobby variant.
