Like any "asset", it's as valuable as someone (or the market) wants to pay.
If the card "owes" you something, then set a price.
Otherwise list it on eBay at $0.99 or put it up for trade in here and allow the community to "fairly" determine the going price.

Auctions do give you the going market rate but I would only ever auction a card that was highly sought after. Otherwise there is every chance that someone who was prepared to pay $15 for a By it Now listing gets it for $1 at auction if they are the only person interested at that point in time.
