I tweeted last week on the 12 month anniversary when I traveled to the states and had the chance of a lifetime to meet with each of the players from the Dwyane Wade/Chris Bosh led Miami Heat era.
Tweeted a few photos and tagged Wade and Bosh thinking there's no way either of them would reply, they have zillions of followers and probably won't even have time to read my message. The next day I got a pretty pleasant surprise

Unexpected surprises are the best feelings! Bosh doesn't respond directly to fans often mainly tweets about his family, basketball and of course his best buddies Lebron and Wade.
Didn't hear back from Wade but hey I'm definitely not complaining! It's not everyday I get a message back from an NBA Champion, All-Star and most likely a future HOFer
This was one of the snapbacks I had signed in person by Bosh, Wade and Birdman
Bosh is just too awesome he's def won me over as a loyal fan even more. Thanks for looking!
@exzibit3 thanks mate, I posted 3 parts in the under mailday, part 1 and 2 threads were posted last year and part 3 thread was posted last week. I'll just paste the links here for you
They screwed Wade over big time too! I guess it's a catch 21 situation with Bosh with his blood clotting issue, nobody wants to see him drop dead on the court but I'm sure there is a way to have him play, monitor his vital signs and conduct tests before games, after games etc. Basically Pat Riley said the organisation Bosh was unlikely to play...at all. Very very sad for Bosh. Sucks how this is the way Riley treats his BIG 3 after helping the Heat win 2 Championships.
@Aronzo33 very cool story and mailday! Great idea to contact the organization beforehand to see if they could get you a meet and greet! Actually, a friend of mine did a similar thing but tweeted out to the sister of the owner and she hooked him up with some goodies and he met some players too. Part 3 was incorrect link, do me a solid and paste it again?

It was months in advance and a total shot in the dark, had no idea even leading up to it and straight after the game I still had no idea what was going on and ended up meeting most of the team and being interviewed for Fox Sports which blew me away! Super lucky!
