Ok, so I picked up this game after pre-ordering it at EB on Thursday.
I needed to fill the gap until Titan Fall.
I don't mind a good stealth game but this is a disaster.
I played Dishonoured on the 360 and loved it. Thief is not even a quarter of what Dishonoured is.
I saw a review on the web of 6.8 from one of the big boys. I may not be smoking enough drugs but this game may have been acceptable on the original xbox but not on the new generation. Yes, there may be a few fancy cut scenes but that's about it.
The best way I can describe what I played of this flawed game is clunky mc clunk.
OK, maybe 2 hours of gameplay isn't enough time to pass judgement but I put enough hours into games to know what I like. I have only used the EB return policy once before but it looks like it's gonna happen again.
Thank jeebus that ESO has another stress test beta this weekend. I will now give that a flogging.
