Post your 1st round predictions here ladies and gents! Also, apart from your predictions, tell us as well who you think can most probably pull a first round upset. Here are mine!

Pistons in 5 over Bucks
Heat in 6 over Bulls
Nets in 6 over Pacers
Cavs in 7 over Wizards

Spurs in 5 over Kings
Suns in 6 over Lakers
Clippers in 6 over Nuggets
Mavs in 6 over Grizzlies

Upset: LAKERS OVER SUNS in 7 games baby! KOBE!

LOL Jason you already called the Nugs to beat the Clips... What I wanted was, who do you think can stuff up your picks and beat your "favorite"? Like, I know the Suns will beat the Lakers.. but Kobe will put up a big fight and I don't really know what Kobe will do in this series.

Pistons in 4 over Bucks; cant say nomore, pistons just too good.
Heat in 7 over Bulls; wade is the factor, heat must shut down bulls perimeter shooter.
Nets in 5 over Pacers; JO not 100%, Kiddo-VC-RJ, the best trio in the league.
Cavs in 7 over Wizards; Lebron first postseason, he is under huge pressure to come big. arenas-jamison-butler are very good scorer, the Cavs defense should contain this trio.

Spurs in 6 over Kings; kings lack of big players to stop Timmy.
Lakers in 7 over Suns; kobe always scores big againts the Suns, just need to shut down nash.
Nuggets in 7 over Clippers; Clipps first postseason over 10 yrs (i think), not easy to predict this one, just hope Camby can stop Brand.
Mavs in 6 over Grizzlies; love dirk vs gasol match-up, Mavs have better bench players.

upset? Bulls over Heat (must agree with Greg Anthony), both teams run different type of offense.
 
Upsets:
Wizards can beat Cavs,
Lakers can beat the Suns,
Pacers can beat Nets,
Bucks & Bulls have no chance to top their teams. Bucks wont be able to out-defend the Pistons, Bulls cant outrebound the Heat AND have no one to defend Flash AND Shaq.

Nuggets WILL beat Clippers. Carmello is getting hungry, and they are tough at home.

Mavs should beat Memphis, a team that is yet to win a Playoff game....
But it wont be a walk in the park.

LOL @ Travis.. very upset! :lol: I bet Locky is too that the Warriors didn't make it! :P

Big call on the Bulls Scotty... I think they shouldn't be underestimated after how they finished the season. Hinrich can get very very annoyingly good and might be able to neutralize Wade! But good predictions altogether man.

Dream NBA Finals: Heat vs Lakers. :D

Don't jinx them now mate! Even the coach is concerned because the Pacers won the season series 2-1. I would HATE to see a Nets team coming into this game underestimating the Pacers or being too overconfident. They should play like it's the Pistons they're going up against.
 
The Pacers probably didnt have J-O either when they played (or maybe for 1 game)......

Depends on how the trio (Kidd, Carter & RJ) work it. Wasnt' kidd injured the other week? Hope it's not serious....
 
pistons sweep bucks
Heat in 6 over bulls
Nets in 5 over pacers
Cavs in 6 over wizards

spurs sweep kings (wouldnt be surprised if kings get 1)
suns in 6 over lakers (please kobe get injured in game 1 [-o< )
nuggets in 7 over clippers
Mavs in 6 over grizzlies (memphis are my dark horse)

cavs and wiz should be close, so should clips nugs. heat bulls will be good. im very worried about kobe though :(

watch out for the grizzlies, i dont think mavs will have it easy.
 
Scotty- no Kidd is fine and he says he's 100% physically and mentally. WOOHOO! He didn't play the last 2 games just to be able to rest. Nets will enter the playoffs with a complete healthy roster.. Don't be surprised too if they play Jeff McInnis to see how he fits in.
 
im in jase, looks hard though, you can only use a player once throughout the entire playoffs?! i was automatically going to go with kobe and bron but some strategy is needed here me thinks...
 
I'm in too but I don't think Flash works here in my office comp so I've to wait til I get home to make my selections.

Yeah I had Shaq and Kobe, then I thought about it a little more...and strategy is needed...and a little luck with your players! I wonder if there is a comp around like the NCAA tournament a few of us did, that would be much closer and easier?

Chicago 4 -3 over Miami <--- my upset tip
Nets 4 - 0 over Indiana
Cavs 4 - 3 over Wizards

Spurs 4 - 3 over Sac (unles my boy Artest has a huge series they might be able to pull off the upset!)
Suns 4 - 1 over Lakers
Clippers 4 - 2 over Nugs
Mavs 4 - 1 over Memphis
 
itl be a cold day in hell when the kings push spurs to 7 [-X

i can see bulls over miami, but VERY slim chance.
