So anyways, after about 30 mins I got the Rosters looking HALF decent, still not sure on a couple (if only I had ADSL I'd download the roster updates....)
Anyways, started a season with the Mavs, and got my arse handed to my by to the Suns (still getting used to the controls)...
Saved it up, and played a normal game (from the Menu) with Mavs vs Spurs.
Parker burnt me for 45 (WTF) and I fell short again by 4 this time. (improving!!!).
Not a bad game. Now I've finally gotten a FULL game out of it. (before it'd say "dirty disc" and wouldnt play after about 5 mins).
Graphics are sweet. I think once I get my defense and offensive free-style worked out, I MIGHT class it as good as 2K6.
the 2K series are better than the Live series in most aspects i reckon, but since i prefer playing on PC not console im stuck with Live...hopefully they will release the 2K series on PC...
i have one of them (with Ben Wallace on the cover) for PS2 and its sweet
i actually like live this year better than 2k6. 2k5 was good but i didnt like this years presentation. them losing espn was a major disappointment. but i enjoy live better cause it has nicer looks and gameplay plus i like the players abilities
I'd have to go with Live, I have played a full season of both (5min qtrs)
and I think live has better control ability. 2K6 is in the same park as THE LIFE which was also fun but they were a bit repeatitive.Where as Live keep me guessing a bit more. I also found more errors in 2K6 and didn;t like the strip and rip feature as you hardly picked up fouls when you get slap happy.
Live has better freestyle moves as well.
