The release last week of Panini America’s 2017 Contenders Draft Picks Football and the arrival next week of the 2017 NFL Draft have collided to create a palpable frenzy surrounding the former as autograph cards of the top prospects have realized some rather lofty sales figures in recent days. Cracked Ice autographs of Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson and LSU running back Leonard Fournette sold for $700 and $500, respectively. A Cracked Ice gem of Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey changed hands for $300.
Spend a little time researching realized sell prices on eBay and you’ll find similar staggering totals up and down your draft board. To help add a little insight into some of the autograph print runs in 2017 Contenders Draft Picks Football, we provide a spreadsheet below that details the Short Prints and Super Short Prints dotting the checklist. For the purposes of this post, SPs refer to cards with print runs of 200 or less; SSPs refer to cards with print runs of 100 or less.
