Sharks forward Andrew Fifita has reportedly been placed in an induced coma, after he was hit in the throat during Cronulla's loss to Newcastle yesterday.

I hope to see the big guy recover. He has the potential to be a great ambassador and coach for our game. Love him or hate him, he has done great stuff for club

At his best he was as good a prop as there is going around but at times not the brightest.

Hoping he makes it back and retires on his own terms.
