It $h!ts me!!!:mad::mad:

I have a Pixma MP800 Printer/Scanner it's really meant to just scan documents or in my case cards!!:razz:

It would be good if anyone can tell me how to get just the card in scan rather than the side of the scanner? I'd rather not take it out of the One Touch but if comes to that I will:D

Thanks Guys:goat: haha goat

cant you put the holder with card in the middle of your scanner and then crop the selection box to fit just the card? So that way it only scans the card?? Or doesnt your scanner program support that feature where it gives you a selection box which you can choose which section of the image you want to scan? Otherwise, like the other boys said, just scan it and then edit it in a paint or graphics program and crop just what you want from the image. and if its not straight, just rotate it first to make it level and then crop it.

Thanks man my scanner program doesn't support that feature I wish it did that'd be good!!

Thanks mate!:v::thumbsup:

nah nah nah.

when you scan, hit preview first. It will come up with the preivew image of what you are scanning. Sometimes the scanner is good enough to autodetect just the card itself.

Then you can select, what you want the scanner to scan properly and it will just scan the photo in higher quality.

looking forward to seein all these cards your talking bout ;)

Thanks Tuesday or Wednesday next week!:thumbsup:
