PSA return & Import Tax

Hi guys,

My PSA return of 100 cards is currently being held hostage by FedEx.

They have stated that customs now requires them to gst on the declared cost of card + appraisal fee because "you are adding value to your cards".

I understand paying the gst on the grading cost but on the declared price when I exported it to PSA?

Anyone with a similar experience here? I've held off on responding to them before I can gather some more info.

Customs are a bunch of thieving criminals. If you have the time then you should watch the link I've provided. Interesting story of how one Aussie dealt with customs over an imported luxury car.

Something might have happened with customs rules in the last few months?
