While it’s true that you can’t really appreciate all that Panini America’s Prizm technology has to offer until you’re holding the magnificent trading cards in your hands, there’s something incredibly revealing — and even a little exciting — about spending some time between a few uncut Prizm sheets. So when the first test sheets for 2013 Prizm Baseball hit Panini America HQ a few weeks back, we couldn’t wait to dive in.
These particular sheets provided a spectacular showcase for some of the bold new designs in 2013 Prizm Baseball, highlighted by the flame-engulfed Fearless, the star-studded etching of Superstar Spotlight and the mesmerizing Rookie Challengers. These two sheets also provided previews of the set’s USA Baseball inclusions.
And the fact that both of the sheets scrutinized in the gallery below are from the base Prizm parallel fotms means your Labor Day just got a whole lot more rainbow in it.
