The jersey you're referring to is a 80s Sand Knit Macgregor retail jersey:

Sand Knit Macgregor were the exclusive outfitter for the NBA in the late 70s-80s before Champion took over the license in 1989.
They were the first company to produce retail jerseys to capitalise on the public demand and the growth of the league during the 80s.

Maybe next time do a little research before posting up such claims.
