Just asking about this situation I sold this item and it was worth around the $100 mark and buyer has lodged a clam with PayPal so now they have taken $100 out of my account.

The buyer left a message to say "I have no confidence in his actions to date".

This happened to me once before I meant Aus Post isn't that reliable but imagine if you sold something send it and they get it and say they never got it I feel really bad wondering if he is lieing or if Aus Post mucked up yet again.

Just to get peoples thoughts Thanks:thumbsup:

wait so, u sent something buy __________ post and it did/didn't arrived, the buyer lodged a claim and now $100 of yours is gone?

i post items over 20 or so dollars express or registered even out of my own pocket so im not in that situation, mostly on ebay

International Always charge registered if they like it or not if they are tight arses not to pay stuff them , they all seem to think they know it all and charge like a mule there are a lot of great guys that you can deal with but it's like a needle in a haystack.

I'm pretty sure that it's a requirement for the seller to send via registered to be covered by Paypal claims against them, or something..

Regular didn't yes I offer two services regular and registered the buyer didn't want to pay 3.50 more and now its my fault:mad::rolleyes:

Yeah it is, now you're going to be out of pocket.

PayPal will never agree it's the buyer's fault. It's your responsibility as the seller to make sure you cover your own arse...

pfft that sux balls...however i just recently had a guy not like the card i sent him and he claimed it wasnt listed properly in ebay and he got a fricken refund after sending the card back!

I got done like this recently, sold the item for 52$, sent via regular post as he wouldn't pay for registered, says he didnt recieve it, and now my paypal account in -$52, and an negative thingy on ebay. So I didnt get paid at all, and lost the card. I really dont believe that paypal even read that in his email he refused to pay registered post, and even said it was ok to go regular post. Now everything I sell over $20 will be registered post.
