The ground-shaking buzz reverberating from 2013-14 Prizm Hockey just keeps growing more intense. Earlier this week, Panini America NHL Brand Managers confirmed that the first standalone Prizm Hockey release — which begins packing out Monday — would be 100 percent redemption-free. Yesterday, Panini America Sales Director Tim Franz announced that the product had already sold out. Today? Well, it keeps getting better.
Collectors have seen Panini America’s popular Cracked Ice technology. They’ve seen seemingly every color of parallel imaginable under the Prizm rainbow. But when Prizm Hockey releases on September 25, collectors will feast their eyes on something completely new: Purple Cracked Ice Prizms. And the only way to get them is to participate in the company’s North America-wide 2013-14 Prizm Hockey wrapper-redemption program through approved Panini Roundtable hobby shops.
To celebrate the long-awaited release of Prizm Hockey, Panini America has created a special Purple Cracked Ice Parallel set that will be distributed via three-card redemption packs available exclusively through Panini Roundtable hobby shops in the U.S. and Canada.
For every 25 hobby wrappers of 2013-14 Prizm Hockey redeemed through Panini Roundtable dealers, collectors will receive one pack of Purple Cracked Ice cards while supplies last. Packs will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and quantities are limited.
