He was fostered by a well-known individual within the Australian basketball community whose controversial tactics have turned him away from Australia and is pretty much destroying other potential Sudanese stars who could be representing Australia. I think the same happened with Ater Majok who some may remember was drafted by the Lakers a few years back, too much about the cash grab which forces these kids to go pro way too early. Interesting note, the coach featured in the SMH article, Mayor Chagai is my brother's basketball coach. But he's the only Asian you'll see balling in the Blacktown team LOL
