How well are the bombers playing? A: very well.

Big test this weekend against the blues. 50/50.

Very impressed with Jobe's improvement and players like Heppell, Lonergan, Hurley etc are really stepping up....:D
 
bombers have had a great start to the season, if we keep up this good form look out collingwood on anzac day

The Bombers have started well, very well but let's not talk ourselves up too much yet. It's round 3...

I plan on just enjoying the ride and not raising my expectations as I'm sure we will have a flatspot throughout the year. I do love how this list of players that was considered the worst in the AFL by a lot of people is now looking like a Top 8 maybe even Top 4 performance.

The big things I want to see out of this year are:
* More wins than losses.
* At least 2 interstate wins. (This has been our biggest issue in recent years)
* Continued improvement from Ryder, Hurley, Hocking, Hooker (Has started the year better than I thought he would) and Jetta.
* Neagle not get a game.
* Wins over our Bogey Teams, Port and Geelong.

I think all of these are achievable. Here's to a great ride!!

have to add beating collingwood twice to that list !
 
They could have shown this form last year, I had money on them to make the 8, they must have of really hated Knights, Or Thompson is really that good! Anyway how good is Watson?, on fire at the present time, and Hille is an emergency!!!, things are looking good for the Bombers, hope they smash Carltank!
 
As a Hawthorn member of 21 years, it pains me to see the Bombers playing exciting, winning football again :razz:

Honestly though, it was must-watch tv last week when they played St Kilda. Essendon are going places, I think they can finish as high as 5th (Collingwood, Geelong, Fremantle and maybe the Hawks or Crows are my tip for the top 4 spots).

Crucial game for them tomorrow and on Anzac Day - win both of them and you Essendon blokes will be unbearable :)
 
not a bad effort against collingwood.

The score really blew out in the first qtr and then again in the last 3mins of the game.
 
Hope Gold Coast have some good contests at the footy, Eagles have a 10 day break now and will be fired up to give you mob a good belting.
