Off to Canberra.. Maby

Hi Guys,

Ive been offered a job in Canberra and seriously considering it... I wanted to know if anyone here has worked or lived/s in canberra and can provide info about the rental market, cost of living, good places to stay (value for money).. Any advise would be appreciated.

fantastic place to live, but very expensive. I rented a house in Kambah which was $400 per week for a 4 bedroom house. When I moved back to Vic in May, they rented the house for $480p/w. But the wages are better in Canberra (usually) but as I said, it is a very nice place.
It isn't far from the snow and also from the beach so it has a good location and is hard to get lost there

Finally moved to Canberra!.. Very quiet place and love the traffic (or lack of).. Thanks guys for your suggestions on places to stay! :v:

I grew up in Canberra and only would want to go back for holidays, could never live there again, it is too boring.
