no love for shaq or did i just over-value?

after emptying my piggy bank but still end up losing out on the shaq rubies and pmg last christmas, i had money to spare and was willing to go all out on this card as ive always wanted to have one.

i was preparing to see the bids pile up on the last few seconds as this is arguably one of shaq's better auto...

i was all set and ready to rumble..

adrenaline's building, itching to pull the trigger on the snipe...

as the seconds count down ....3...2...1....





ended up winning the item as the lone bidder lol

i guess i may have paid more than it's market value (not sure how much this goes for, the normal shaq autographics went for 80-120 recently), but with the shaq pmg and rubies ending way past 300, miller century (twice the print run) ending at 400+, and the rodman regular autographics at 200+, i was expecting this to have gone higher.


it may not be a steal flip-wise, but i havent been happier with any purchase more than this one! best christmas present ive given myself lol

I'm not sure on Shaq auto's, seems a bit pricey to me but hey, I've paid way more for some Garnett cards than some would ever consider. I do love those Century Marks and Autographics in general so if you're happy with it that's all that matters. Great pickup !!!!

Yeah nothing wrong with that. If it's a PC card then great stuff - you never know how often they will (if ever) pop up again. If you're happy paying that price then that's what matters

Great card and congrats on not needing to have a bidding war to get it I am sure there are plenty of shaq collectors that will be spewing that they missed out on bidding

i've spend triple figures on cards worth a lot less..

thanks for the input mates, yeah, i think im lucky i just like this card more than any other shaq collectors or set chasers at the time lol

(low #'d auto from a popular auto set in the 90's, on-card at that, from shaq's best year ever) , i was willing to pay more for this than a shaq pmg or ruby so i guess to each his own = )
