Beginning tomorrow in the fabled football haven known as Green Bay, Wis., the NFL, Panini America and Walmart will embark on a five-week, seven-city NFL road trip filled with tailgating fun, free autographs from beloved stars of the past and Panini America’s 2013 NFL trading cards and stickers.

In a massive celebration of a new season, the NFL, Panini America and Walmart are joining forces to bring former NFL stars Antonio Freeman, Karl Mecklenburg, Jay Novacek, Hall of Famer Fred Biltenikoff, Jamal Lewis and more to Walmart locations in their respective NFL towns to interact with fans and to sign special Panini America photographs in a laid-back, tailgating setting the day before a big game.

Panini America also is using the road trip to showcase its Super Bowl Kid Reporter Contest that will win one lucky child the opportunity of a lifetime to cover Super Bowl XLVIII Media Day in New York. Fans and collectors can find contest access codes inside retail versions of 2013 Rookies & Stars Football, 2013 Absolute Football and 2013 Contenders Football.

The festivities kickoff tomorrow in Wisconsin, where Freeman will appear at the Green Bay Walmart from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. — just 24 hours before the hometown Packers host Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins. From there, the road trip moves to Pittsburgh (September 21), Denver (September 22), Houston (September 28), Oakland and Dallas (October 5), and Baltimore (October 12).
