New technique to boost ebay listing

Hey folks,

I was just watching my doppelganger (Charlie Pickering) on the 7PM report. He added a couple of other things to the ever growing list of things that he has in common with me, namely an ebay addiction and love of getting parcels delivered to him.

Anyway, they put up a can used by Hughesy last night on ebay, it was at $51. I went to check it out, in the add break it was up over $100...by the end of the show, it was above $800!!! A freakin empty can...used by a relatively minor celebrity. I wish I could get some of my crap advertised on the tube!

they won't be serious bids....the same thing happens every time an Ebay listing gets any sort of publicity....those sort of listings need to have registered bidding to weed out the idiots.

I'd say the winning bidder will get a spot on TV...so it could be viewed as relatively cheap advertising, and tax deductable to boot!

They'll probally be on the 7PM Project, I wish I could buy a can of Red Bull, drink it, then sell it for over $10,000
