The 90's thread got me thinking about what inserts/#Ed cards are out there that were introduced after the start of the new melinium.

I'm sure there are a ton of 1/1s out there, would love to see other stuff though! Show me what you got!

That card is responsible for the craze that is 08-09 PMG's now. The Green MJ's weren't selling with $1000 BIN's only weeks before i got mine and only had a value of around $5-600 at the time then it sold and all hell broke loose.
Yeah i wish i didn't get bored so easily too, i put it down to undiagnosed A.D.D

This one is from 03-04 Fleer Genuine Insider Tools of the game - this one has all 3 types of memorabilia and is #21/25

I was reading the first page and thinking the same thing.

The prices on the PMG's were because of the name association to the original PMG's from Skybox Metal. While they were not that high in price originally a combination of heaps of collectors vying for the same cards and hype drove prices up. The big sale of the MJ green created a bit of a frenzy at the time too and drove prices up for the rest of the superstar players in the set oh and you can also thank Steveo (good_old_bball) for driving prices up
