seriously, i dont think there has been a draft ever with potential impact players, even till second round, and i wouldnt class any of the lottery picks are projects.

lol depends i guess how many "best ever" classes there are. I still think it's too early to make a judgements. They certainly will be better than the last crop, they were one of the weakest since the 00-01 class imo.
Depends on how much court time he gets in the NBA, plus I'm sure the amount of $$$$ he's getting may also have some role to play in any future descisions..
depends, for sure he will be a superstar in europe, but a role player in the NBA, if the $$$ are similar i think i would prefer to play in europe if i were him, hes already proved he can play in the NBA
The class was unlucky to have a few slowed by injuries, I feel they had a decent crop though!
Kevin Durant, Al Horford, Luis Scola, Al Thornton, Michael Conley, Jamario Moon, probably a few others I'm forgetting, Juan Carlos Navarro. These guys did alright, put up respectable stats and will probably get quite a few all-stars from this draft.
This upcoming one will be pretty good but the 97 and 03 stand out for me, and of course MJ's.
The past few years draft crops still have plenty to offer guys, a lot just haven't matured yet. If the question is best ready made draft group then from 03-04 it's been pretty ordinary. But when the sun has set and the scores are in the book, I think you will find plenty of players not mentioned or thought to highly of right now in the star category.
I don't think this years group is that much better than any since 03-04. There are a couple of great players and a few potential greats......which is the same as every other year.
