Bought this DVD a while back and got around to watching it yesterday.

For those who dont know its a 3 hour doco following the lives of two budding ballers from Chicago, and is filmed over 4 years (from when they are 14 to 18).

It is really interesting and is definetely worth a pick up if you get the chance.

While they don't go on to playing in the NBA, the movie changed both of their lives and it is just an amazing insight as to how important basketball is to these guys!

Why dont you just spoil the ending..... ive seen it before... great doco but my favourite is "Through the Fire"

hoop dreams is ****ing rad kitch, i must have watched it about 10 times at least, best doco ive ever seen.

i bought the criterion dvd when it came out, its got a commentary by the 2 guys in the doco, so cool to hear them talk about the movie and how their lives have panned out since.
