For those who have read my previous post, one of my buyers on ebay tried to rip me off by threatening to leave me negative feedback if I don't give him refund $80 from a $525 card sale with him. Since I didn't in to his threat, he posted a negative feedback on me. At first I thought it wouldn't affect me much since all my other 90 feedback are positive. However, I have been getting different emails from potential buyers asking me if the card they are bidding on have any damages. Obviously, they are doing it because they have read that feedback. So I was wondering how I can post a response to that feedback and let people know the truth? I have seen it on other people's feedback before but not sure how to do it. I'd appreciate your help, thank you.

Not sure mate, but maybe either go to the finished auction page or perhaps within your feedback it says something about responding? Good luck with it!

Go to your "My ebay", then "account", then on the left side click click "Feedback", then click "Go to Feedback forum", then on the right side click "Follow Up to Feedback Left", click "Follow up" on which Feedback you wanted to add your follow up. Hope that helps

thanks for your help, it worked.... hope it will at least do me some justice. He reported it to ebay and good thing ebay hasn't done anything to me yet. Guess they don't even buy his story.

You could also go back into the sale, get the guys address, go and visit him with a crow bar or solid metal object, and threaten eight kinds of violence until he retracts the feedback. Just a thought.

Nice idea..... but too bad I work in corrections and apparently we have a stupid rule that restricts us from breaking the law. Damn!!! Would like to get my hands on that guy though.

Does ebay allow negative feedback to be left for "blackmail" purposes? I know htey have some rules about the language used in feedback, if it is too fruity/slanderous you can get it removed. Perhaps sending the offending email threat to ebay can get the feedback removed?

I already deleted the emails because I didn't think he would actually go that far and actually left me negative and reported it to ebay for not being able to scam me for $80. People would do anything for money these days.

Deleted them even from your eBay inbox?

Yup, I always delete my emails after I have responded them. Guess it's a bad habit and it just bit me in the ass then. I guess I should at least be happy that Ebay didn't side with the buyer right away this time... well, at least not yet.

Wow! Didn't think anyone deleted anything from their eBay account since they disappear after 30 days anyway! Yeah I'd definatelyhave kept those e-mails even if you deleted everything else...now you have no proof or leg to stand on...

Lol most of us have 'stupid rules' that stop us breaking the law - they're called laws

I still have the original pic of the card in mint condition from before I sent it, don't know if that would help though.

Learn a lesson....always make high res pics of the cards before sending them.

For those asking questions, you can do the same - make high res pics of the card and email it to them, if they ask about the card condition. It is easier for them to make their own minds up instead of having to rely on your words. Pictures say 1000 words ;)
