eBay checkout issue

Just a heads up - be careful if you buy something from eBay today. I went to checkout and noticed I was going to be charged GST on DOMESTIC purchases - ie, over and above auction price + postage. I've reported it but the issue as I type (11am, Sunday 20th August) is unresolved. I was advised not to pay until the issue is escalated and sorted.

Interesting. Yep I'm hoping there'll be some refunds applied for this.

I spoke with eBay today was told it’s a glitch and hopefully resolved soon, if you have bought anything and just paid the gst hit them up for a refund

It's a bit of a weird one as not all sellers are affected!

I've bought a couple of things since this was first posted without issue

The seller that was having the issue got sorted be eBay this morning. They weren't alone but should all be sorted now.
